Kindergarteners are learning all about prisms—and putting their knowledge to work! 🌈 They used CDs to create sparkling ornaments for Northwest College.

Our third-grade Spooktacular competition was a huge success! The students showed incredible creativity! It was clear how hard they worked to make their projects and performances outstanding! The kids truly went above and beyond!

Mrs. Jo-el came to teach us about symmetry and to make ornaments for the Festival of Trees!!🌲🎄

Things are getting “spooky” in 1st grade STREAM class. Students made spooky houses and coded Indi Cars to travel from house to house.

Susie Smith came back to Livy today to share her bat knowledge with Kindergarten! 🦇 The kids loved learning all about these amazing creatures.

3rd graders toured our local water treatment plant and the dam to learn where energy comes from and how it’s made. So cool to see science in action! 💧⚡️

Winter is coming! ❄️
Livingston has quite a few donated coats, snow pants, gloves, hats, and boots available.
Help us clear out some storage space — if your child is in need of any winter items, please email kambriesimmons@park6.org.

A big thank you to the Meeteetse Museum for bringing their amazing Bison Trunk to our 2nd graders! 🦬💛 Students kicked off their study of the Yellowstone Ecosystem by exploring how bison survive and thrive in the wild. Hands-on learning + curious minds = one unforgettable lesson! 🌿📚 #LivingstonLeopards #HandsOnLearning #YellowstoneEcosystem #BisonPower

Our Kindergartners are climbing their way to stronger bodies and bigger smiles! 💪🧗♀️ They’re building strength, coordination, and confidence one colorful hold at a time. Way to go, little climbers! 🌟👏 #LivingstonLeopards #ActiveLearners #ClimbToSuccess
#LivyROCKS #WearePark6

Our 4th graders in STREAM are getting ready for their Yellowstone trip by becoming wildlife biologists. They studied 3D printed animal skulls and used clues to decide which animal the skulls belonged to.

🦌 Wyoming Game & Fish – Exploring animal migration and how barriers affect movement.
🐻 Cody Conservation District – Discovering how bears prepare for hibernation through hyperphagia!
🎨 Trout Unlimited – Creating traditional Japanese Gyotaku fish prints.
🐏 National Bighorn Sheep Center – Learning about the life and importance of Wyoming’s bighorn sheep.
🤖 UW Innovation Workshop Makerspace – Exploring robotics and how they impact our daily lives.
🧭 Elsa Freise (UW Science Initiative Roadshow) – Creating compasses to explore magnetism.
🎢 Austin Bernard (UW Science Initiative Roadshow) – Building marble roller coasters to study physics and energy.
💎 Nancy Weinheimer (UW Science Initiative Roadshow) – Testing and identifying minerals like real geologists.
💧 Lilian Jones (UW Science Initiative Roadshow) – Experiencing the water cycle through a fun dice game.
🍎 Erik Gwaltney (UW Science Initiative Roadshow) – Walking through the digestive system with an interactive model.
❤️ Madison Ruhman (UW Science Initiative Roadshow) – Exploring the cardiovascular system and learning how the heart works.
🌲 Teton Science School and Austin Conklin from Northwest College – Bringing even more exciting hands-on learning to our students!
We are so thankful for the partnerships that make these experiences possible. Days like this spark curiosity, inspire future scientists, and make learning come alive at Livingston Elementary! 💡💛 #LivyROCKS #WearePark6
